Booking terms.

Scope

For bookings made on a platform (Airbnb, Booking.com, Abritel, Google, Marriott…), the terms of that platform take precedence, particularly for payment and cancellation. The house rules below apply in all cases. Full details of Les Grandes Maisons are given in the legal notice.

1. Booking

A booking covers a furnished property for set dates and a set number of guests. It is final as soon as the confirmation is sent by email, summarising the property, dates, number of guests and total amount. The person booking must be of legal age and books on behalf of all occupants.

2. Prices

Prices are shown in euros, inclusive of all taxes. The total amount, itemised before payment, includes the nights, cleaning fees, the tourist tax applicable in the municipality and any options chosen. Bed linen and towels are provided.

3. Payment

Payment is made online by bank card, via a secure payment platform, under the terms shown at the time of booking. Les Grandes Maisons does not store your card details.

4. Security deposit

A security deposit or card pre-authorisation may be required for some properties. The amount and terms are specified in the listing and at the time of booking. It is released after the stay, less any sums due under article 9.

5. Cancellation

By the guest: the stay is refunded in full (100 %) if cancelled up to 24 hours before arrival, with no reason required, on simple request. After that, the terms shown at the time of booking apply.

By Les Grandes Maisons: if the property cannot be made available, the guest is refunded all sums paid in full or, if they agree, rehoused in an equivalent property.

6. No right of withdrawal

In accordance with article L.221-28, 12° of the French Consumer Code, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to accommodation services provided on a specific date or for a specific period. Only the cancellation terms set out in article 5 apply.

7. Check-in and check-out

Check-in is self-service, usually from 4 pm, unless otherwise stated for the property. If your accommodation is ready earlier, you can arrive sooner: we will message you as soon as it is available. Access details are sent before arrival. On the day of departure, the property must be vacated by the time shown at booking at the latest (11 am or 12 noon depending on the property).

8. House rules

• All properties are non-smoking. If this rule is not respected, a special cleaning charge applies, the amount of which depends on the size of the property.
• Out of respect for the neighbours, parties, events and gatherings are not allowed.
• The number of occupants must not exceed the number of guests stated on the booking; any additional guests are charged extra.
• Pets are only allowed in properties whose listing says so.
• The guest uses the property and its equipment with reasonable care and returns it in good condition.

9. Damage

In the event of theft, deterioration or damage found in the property after the stay, an additional charge is made corresponding to the loss, calculated on the basis of the necessary repair, replacement or restoration costs.

10. Complaints and mediation

During your stay, please report any problem on 04 65 84 61 34 or via your booking messages, so that we can fix it quickly. Any other complaint can be sent to contact@grandemaisongannat.fr or on 06 52 16 01 57. If no amicable solution is found, you may refer the matter free of charge to the consumer mediator: MEDIMMOCONSO, 1 allée du Parc de Mesemena, Bât. A, CS 25222, 44505 La Baule Cedex, recevabilite-mediations.medimmoconso.fr.

11. Applicable law

These terms are governed by French law. By booking, the guest acknowledges having read and accepted them.
